Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

State Duma deputy Sheremet called for the creation of a protective contour near the borders of Russia

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Mikhail Sheremet took the initiative to create a protective contour near the borders of the Russian Federation. The parliamentarian stressed that the provision of such measures will prevent the expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance to the east.

Sheremet noted that a protective outline must be created by denying NATO membership by all countries bordering Russia. Thus, on the western borders, it is possible to organize a buffer zone of neutral states.

“It is necessary to destroy the expansion plans of the menacing NATO bloc in an attempt to squeeze our country into a vice with a view to its further strangulation,” the source told RIA Novosti.

Poland risks becoming a legitimate target for Russian armed forces and one of the parties to the Ukrainian conflict if Warsaw sends its regular troops to Ukrainian territory, Sheremet said earlier. According to him, we can speak of systems that have “a significantly greater destructive and destructive effect”.
