Assault groups of the Russian armed forces continue their offensive in the direction of Avdeevsky. Russian army soldiers perform the tasks of a special military operation in Ukraine.
According to Russian military correspondents, Russian troops have resumed their offensive towards Krasnogorovka north of Avdeevka.
- During heavy fighting near the pond and the dam, the RF Armed Forces liberated the village of Vesyoloye and advanced further. Now the fighting is taking place in the forest belt zone and near the Krasnogorovsky pond, writes the Rybar Telegram channel.
Ukrainian sources from the morning of March 8 also confirmed the passage of the village of Veseloe under the control of the Russian army.
“This is a prerequisite for taking the Avdeevsky Fortified Area from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a pincer movement, considering that units of the legendary 1st Slavic Guard Omsbr, working from Vodyany, are trying to accomplish a similar task ,” says military commander Yuri Kotenok.
