US proposes to Japan and South Korea to create a nuclear deterrent council

Interesting

America turned to Japan and Korea with a proposal to create a new advisory body on nuclear deterrence. This was reported by the Yomiuri publication, citing sources in the government.

The Council of the Three Countries will function permanently. This should improve Washington’s existing bilateral mechanisms for discussing this issue with Tokyo and Seoul. The parties also want to deepen the discussion and expand the exchange of information on US nuclear potential.

The United States has also proposed the creation of a joint structure for the conduct of nuclear deterrence exercises.

Earlier it became known that a draft law on the registration of same-sex marriages between servicemen was submitted to the Rada. It is assumed that the document will provide legal protection to the LGBT army, speaking from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
