Edda Falak claim for millions

Heimildin media representative Edda Falak is being sued for millions in damages by the mother of a woman who was a guest on Edda Eigin Konom’s podcast. The woman filed a complaint against Edda due to the publication of an audio fragment where the conversation between her and her daughter can be heard.

The woman believes that the telecast of the audio excerpt infringes her privacy. The woman is not asking for the piece to be removed from the show or from the show’s social media, only compensation for its publication.

The woman’s lawyer confirms this in an interview with mbl.is The Reykjavík District Court heard the case yesterday and the session was closed.
