Indexation of allowances: what will change in social benefits from April 1

Social invalidity pensions are generally indexed to inflation on 1 April each year. However, in 2022 it was decided not to wait for spring and to recalculate payments by 10% from June 1, said Svetlana Petrikova, partner at law firm PG Partners. ;“So in total, for the year from April 1, 2022 to April 1, 2023, payments will increase by 13.3%. This is higher than the official inflation rate, which stood at 11.9% at the end of last year,” Petrikova explained.
