The shrine is now in the Temple of Alexander Nevsky near the station.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Ambrose of Tver and Kashinsky, an ark containing part of the relics of the blessed old woman Matrona of Moscow has arrived at the Church of the Righteous Prince Alexander Nevsky on Tver Station Square.
Residents and guests of the city have the opportunity to bow before the shrine. Every day after the morning service and before the evening service (at 4:00 p.m.) in the Alexander Nevsky Church, a prayer service is performed in front of the holy relics. The shrine will remain here until March 19 and is open for worship to all.
The honest relics of the holy saint of God – the blessed Matrona of Moscow were found on March 8, 1998. The holy old woman Matrona is one of the revered saints of the 20th century. His whole life became an example of a great spiritual feat of love, patience, selflessness and compassion. The gift of spiritual reasoning, insight, miracles and healing Matrona was marked by God from an early age. Even before the glorification in the face of the saints, people knew and revered the blessed old Matrona. There was always a line of people at her grave, candles and lamps were burning, people went to Matronushka for help and healing. And by faith they received what they asked for.
