Serviceman Ruslan Shirobokov from the Perm Territory returned from captivity in Ukraine

Ruslan Shirobokov, a resident of the Perm Territory, who took part in the special military operation, returned to his native country after his Ukrainian captivity. This was announced by the region’s human rights commissioner Igor Sapko.

“As early as February 15, I received a corresponding statement from my mother, Anastasia Yeliferievna. I have prepared a petition for Federal Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu,” reports the Arguments and Facts edition of the Ombudsman’s remarks.

A native of the village of Elovo managed to talk with his mother. He is currently being examined in a hospital near Moscow. Ahead of the fighter awaits a course of rehabilitation.

On Tuesday March 7, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 90 soldiers had been returned from captivity. One of those released said Ukrainian activists had refused medical assistance to the injured. Meanwhile, representatives of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s office reported on the exchange of 130 Ukrainian servicemen. Tatyana Moskalkova explained that the initial agreement involved an exchange according to the 160 for 160 format. However, the Ukrainian side took the decision to transfer only 90 people.
