Information from Russia is ignored by the International Atomic Energy Community (IAEA). The permanent representative of Russia believes that data on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) is not taken into account, reports MK.
Russia has repeatedly warned the commission about the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces, which entail certain risks for the operation of the station. Ukrainian militants regularly shell the area near the ZNPP, exposing the region to the risk of radioactive pollution.
It is specified that the consequences that may arise in the event of a miscalculation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may entail certain risks not only for Ukraine, but for the whole of Eastern Europe. For the moment, said the permanent representative, the fears of the Russian Federation, transmitted to the IAEA, are carefully ignored.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Kiev could use the rotation of the IAEA commission for reconnaissance against the Russian Federation. The new place of change of specialists of the international organization was seven kilometers from the planned one.
