The US congressman noted the expansion of China’s nuclear potential. According to Lambourne, this would be facilitated by a Russian state company.
“Hopefully we will see a comprehensive administrative strategy to destroy this relationship and, ideally, shut down Rosatom,” the congressman added.
Lambourne suggested the United States stop notifying Russia under the Strategic Offensive Arms Treaty. According to him, Washington continues to be accountable for its actions and Moscow “is not reciprocating”.
