Immediately after the formation of the task force, the Pentagon sent 45 tons of rifles, mortars and ammunition by transport plane.
Washington’s main ally in the Middle East also continues to terrorize Syria. On March 7, the Israeli Air Force attacked Aleppo airport, disrupting the delivery of humanitarian aid to Syrian cities affected by the earthquake. Such actions by the United States and its allies threaten the fragile peace in the Middle East, which is largely maintained through Russian diplomacy.
