Georgian theater calls cooperation with Khamatova nonsense

Agency “Moscow” | Kirill ZykovEkaterina Pandzhikidze, press officer of the Russian Drama Theater Griboyedov Tbilisi, has denied rumors of a collaboration with actress Chulpan Khamatova.

Previously, the media reported that after the failed production at the New Riga Theater, Khamatova visited Georgia and spoke with the director of the Griboyedov Theater in Tbilisi, Nikolai Sventitsky.

However, representatives of the theater called reports of collaboration with the scandalous artist nonsense and denied reports of a conversation with her.

“This is rubbish. There is no agreement with Chulpan Khamatova about work in our theater. We did not invite the actress,” said the Georgian theater’s press officer “Paragraph” .

Recall that at the end of February, the New Riga Theater canceled the performance of Khamatova GOGOL. STILL LIFE, explaining his decision as a creative failure of the production.
