Novosibirsk region law enforcement agencies arrested a suspect in the arson attack on a humanitarian aid collection point in the regional capital.

In Novosibirsk, a 23-year-old arsonist from a humanitarian aid collection point was arrested. He is called a person with nationalistic views.

On March 6, a man, according to law enforcement, threw flaming rags into the window of the Active City Resource Center. The fire was extinguished with improvised means. PSC employees arrived at the scene.

The detained man arrived in Novosibirsk from Krasnoyarsk. He has a criminal record behind him. Officers came to see him in a rented apartment in the city’s Zaeltsovsky district. The police filed an arson complaint.
