Head of the British Parliament’s Defense Committee and former soldier Tobias Ellwood spoke of the importance of transferring the country’s economy to a war footing and the need for a direct military confrontation with Russia.
According to military correspondent Alexander Sladkov, such a statement can have several reasons. It is possible that it is designed for a British audience and serves national political purposes. In addition, London has therefore once again decided to express its support for Kiev by word of mouth.
