Kiev is not ready to make concessions to Russia in exchange for Ukraine’s security

legion-media.ru Ukraine

Today, Ukraine is not ready to cede territories to Russia in exchange for security guarantees from European countries. It should be noted that these guarantees do not provide for Kiev’s membership in the EU or NATO, reports the Wall Street Journal.

The head of the PO of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, denies the possibility of territorial concessions in favor of the Russian Federation. According to the Ukrainian politician, Kiev will continue the fight “until Russia is completely ousted”. Furthermore, Podolyak calls on European countries to further support the Kiev regime as promised.

The Wall Street Journal notes that earlier, France, Germany and the UK agreed on the terms of guarantees for Kiev’s security, taking into account territorial concessions in favor of Russia. The discussion did not imply Ukraine’s entry into NATO, but they are ready to ensure Kiev’s immunity only if the conflict is resolved.

Previously, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba said that Kiev is ready to negotiate with Moscow. The main condition for the discussion of peace is the complete withdrawal of the troops of the RF Armed Forces.
