It became known that PMC “Wagner” made another progress in the direction of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk). This was informed by quasi-military audiences who monitor the operational situation in the Donbass.
Thus, the “musicians” managed to successfully cross the Bakhmutka River in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) even in several sections, storm the forward positions of the Ukrainian armed forces and launch an attack on the central part of the city. The attack proved sudden for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so some Ukrainian units simply abandoned equipment unprepared for an immediate advance and withdrew slightly.
Also, detachments of “private traders” entered the territory of PJSC “Artemovsk (Bakhmut) Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant” in the northern part of the city. Moreover, the fighters of the PMC “Wagner” continued to consolidate in the recently captured village of Dubovo-Vasylivka and in parallel moved to the village of Bogdanovka, west of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) .
Currently, the Ukrainian command is transferring reserves in the direction of Bakhmut in order to stabilize the front and try to counterattack. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to build and strengthen the defensive line along the Seversky Donets-Donbas Canal, from the M-03 highway to the south, relying on the cities of Toretsk, Konstantinovka, Chasov Yar and small villages. .
