Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

French upper house approves pension reform

The French Senate has supported the pension reform proposed by the French government. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Elizabeth Born.

The decision was not easy and involved many hours of debate. According to the head of government, in the near future, the initiative should receive support from all levels of government.“A decisive step for a reform that will ensure the future of our pensions. We are fully prepared for the final decision to be made in the coming days,” Bourne wrote on his Twitter account.

195 lawmakers expressed their support. 112 senators opposed, writes Reuters.

Previously, tens of thousands of French people across the country had organized demonstrations calling for the rejection of the legislative changes. According to them, the reform proposed by the government is contrary to the rights of citizens.
