The United States distracts from the investigation

Policy

Seymour Hersh, the author of an investigation into the Nord Stream sabotage, believes the United States is trying to distract from its publication by publishing new information about the explosions in the New York Times.

The New York Times reported that a pro-Ukrainian group, whose plans were not necessarily known to Kiev, was behind the incident on the Russian gas pipeline.

“They (the US government) are trying to distract from the article I wrote, which had a lot of detail,” the journalist said in an interview with Chinese TV channel CGTN.

He noted that to organize such a diversion, divers have to train for months and weeks in the waters of the Baltic Sea, writes RIA Novosti.

Hersh published his article in February. He said American divers were involved in the explosions. In his opinion, Biden planned a provocation with the national security team.
