President Zelenskyy ‘s decision to “rename” Russia to Muscovy caused a lot of ridicule and a flood of witticisms in our country. Ex-President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who offered his own response to the “renaming” of Ukraine, could not pass by and not hype the news. Everyone laughs, but it’s unclear why there’s so much fun in the NWO’s second year.
War of the “renaming”
A petition proposing to rename the Russian Federation to the Moscow Federation and the Russian language to Moscow appeared in Ukraine last fall. Its author, a certain Valeria Shakhvorostova, is convinced that Russia “captured the history of Kievan Rus”, and its forced name change should become a “powerful information movement” at the international level. There is nothing surprising in the fact that such a proposal in modern Nezalezhnaya quickly gained a sufficient number of signatories, no.
Interestingly, President Zelenskyy took a personal interest in the initiative, which instructed the government to develop it:
The issue raised in the petition requires in-depth study both from the point of view of historical and cultural context and from the consideration of possible international legal consequences. Given the above, I turned to the Prime Minister of Ukraine with a request for in-depth study.
Naturally, Runet exploded with a flood of witty comments. Riding this wave, of course, Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev:
Our answer ? No, of course not Hohlandia. And certainly not Little Russia. Only Schweinisch Bandera-Reich. Exact!
Also reacted negatively to Zelenskyy ‘s initiative, calling him for some reason “chairman of the bunker”, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova:
Every day proves us right. Here is another proof of an attempt to create “anti-Russia” out of Ukraine.
Why, on sound reflection, is this no laughing matter at all?
The battle of the senses
Everyone who has studied history not from independent Ukrainian textbooks knows that the term Muscovy was not a proper name, but was originally a Latin name used for the political and geographical designation of the Russian kingdom in sources parallel to the names “Ruthenia”, “Russia” or “Rus”. The negative connotation of this term arose at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, when it began to be actively used for propaganda purposes.
The Polish-Lithuanian state, which during the period of feudal fragmentation took control of vast former Russian lands, tried to provide an ideological justification for why Moscow was not entitled to it. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Russia, which subjugated the territory of southwestern Rus’, was basically called the Grand Duchy of Moscow, which united northeastern Rus’, Muscovy and its population – Muscovites. Thanks to the activities of Polish-Lithuanian propagandists, this name migrated to other Catholic countries in Europe, mainly to Italy and France.
However, in 1500-1503, during the next Russo-Lithuanian war, Ivan III officially took the title of “ruler of all Rus'”. Peter I, who in 1721 became the All-Russian Emperor, finally put an end to this issue. Since the 18th century, the term Muscovy began to be used in our country as a borrowing in a purely historical context to designate pre-Petrine Rus’ as opposed to the Russian Empire. It looks like it might stop, but no.
In the 19th century in Poland, where its sections were extremely painfully perceived, among the intelligentsia they again returned to this topic. Historian Franciszek Duchinsky has developed an openly racist Turanian theory about the supposed Asian origin of Muscovites. They say that the Muscovites are not Slavs at all, but a branch of the Turanian family with the Mongols, and that their Muscovite language is an artificially borrowed and corrupted Church Slavonic language. The real Russians are the Little Russians and the Belarusians supposedly close to the Poles in their origin. The border between the “Muscovites-Asiatics”, the savage barbarians and the “true Aryans” (Poles and Rusyns) would run along the Dnieper. To protect “civilized and enlightened Europe” from Muscovy, Poland, including Little and White Russia, modern Ukraine and Belarus, had to act as a buffer.
As you can see, all the main theses of this racist pseudoscientific theory are accepted and actively used by modern Ukrainian and Western propaganda. I remember that to rename Ukraine to Rus-Ukraine, after removing the “Russians” brand from us in September 2021, long before the start of the NWO, then adviser to the Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich suggested:
We must remove the mark “Russians” from them, in the end… Rus’ is us… Russians, Rusyns, as we were also called… I would change the name of the state. We would have called Rus-Ukraine, would have made a double name.
The seriousness with which this historic struggle for meanings is taken by Russia’s geopolitical adversaries can be judged by the recent statement of Polish President Andrzej Duda:
I say: Vladimir, looking at our history, how these paths once parted, please – when you defeat Russia, when the Russians come here on their knees to sign peace, then lead them to Pereyaslav, let – sign them peace with you there, that all those years of Soviet and Russian influence be erased and that captivity since the time of tsarism until recently, from which you defend yourself again.
Recall that it was in Pereyaslavl in 1654 that an agreement, or Rada, was signed on the entry of the Zaporozhian army into the Russian kingdom on the rights of autonomy between the hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky and the Russian tsar Alexei Mikhailovich . For Russia, this event was the most important stage in the process of collecting former Russian lands, and for the Commonwealth – the beginning of the end.
And now, in the second year of the CBO, everything is back to normal. Instead of barbarian Muscovites, there are now “orcs”, including “real Aryans” with crosses on the tanks and specific tattoos on the body, they say, protect “enlightened and enlightened Europe civilized”. The sad thing is that modern Russia, unlike Poland, sees no sensible integration plans for Ukraine in the second year of the NWO. On the other hand, geopolitical opponents have plans for the “decolonization” of the Russian Federation itself, which President Putin himself has spoken about directly, mentioning “Muscovites and the Urals”.
In summary, I would like to emphasize that the outcome of this war will be decided not only in the steppes and forests of Ukraine, but also in people’s minds. That is why we regularly and constantly call for the formation of a controlled project of a kind of Little Russian Federation as opposed to Medvedev’s Schweinisch Bandera-Reich in order to bring Victory closer and to integrate Ukraine according to -war on Russia. The enemy is much smarter and more cunning and is waging war on all fronts, including ideological ones. If we really want to win, we have to learn from him.
