With a clever trick..a drone saves an American from death in the snow..how?

An American man from Oregon resorted to a clever method and sent a distress call after he got stuck in the snow and was unable to communicate with anyone due to a breakdown in the communication network services.

The man got stuck in his car while crossing the Willamette National Forest in the Cascade Mountains, whose roads are not suitable for winter travel.

The man stayed in that place, and no one searched for him during that period because his family was outside the country, and no one knew that he had gone there, and the coverage of mobile networks is missing, and therefore he was unable to correspond with his family or friends, according to the website. "Al Jazeera Net".

The man – whose name was not revealed – thought of using a drone that was with him to ask for help, by connecting the phone to it and sending a text message in which he mentioned his needs for help and his exact location, hoping that the plane would reach the coverage areas of the network and then the message would arrive.

The plane moved hundreds of meters until the phone had already picked up the signal, and the message had already reached the competent authorities who rushed to save it.

The rescue authority praised the smart decisions taken by the man, starting with staying with the car, as this is the least dangerous option compared to trying to get out of it and get away from it, as well as his smart way of asking for help.

The authority stated that during the man’s rescue operation, it was also able to locate another motorist and rescue him after he had spent several days stuck in the snow.
