Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s apartment in Crimea will be given to low-income or large families, the region’s head Sergey Aksyonov has said. The apartment is located in the Yalta village of Livadia.
Aksyonov stressed that the authorities of the peninsula will nationalize, in the first place, objects that “bring income to the enemy”.
“It’s not an end in itself – to take away Zelenskyy ‘s apartment. Our very goal is to defeat them, and we will win, this is without options, ”reports RIA Novosti the words of the leader of Crimea.
As Rossiyskaya Gazeta found out, a similar apartment is now sold for a million dollars. The price includes two parking spaces in the underground car park.
Volodymyr Zelensyy’s Yalta apartment “emerged” into the public domain during the former comedian’s election campaign. The property has been registered in the name of his wife Elena Zelenskaya since 2013. She is known to have paid utility bills until 2021.
