Andy Serkis is ready to return to Middle-earth. The British actor revealed this in an interview with BroBible when asked what he thought of Warner Bros.’ new projects. which should be based on a series of novels by John RR Tolkien.

“Look, (producers) Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens are kind of like a second family that I’m a part of and that I’ve done so many movies with. And – let me tell you – they’re the people best and most incredible to work with. I think there are many more potential Middle-earth projects that could be done, and if they’re going to do them, I’ll definitely jump at the chance to replenish the relationship…Middle-earth has never let me down.”
Serkis became the first actor to portray Gollum in the original Warner Bros. films. to openly express the desire to join the studio’s new projects. His other colleagues, including Elijah Wood, Vigo Mortensen, Ian McKellen and others, remain silent on the matter.
