Iran.. Arresting more than 100 people involved in the poisoning of thousands of female students

The Iranian authorities have announced the arrest of more than 100 people as part of an investigation into a series of poisoning cases involving hundreds of schoolgirls.

The Iranian Ministry of Interior said in a statement published by the agency "Erna" For the official news "More than 100 persons involved in recent school incidents have been identified, arrested and investigated".

But she pointed out that "Among those arrested" persons "They did so with hostile motives and with the aim of spreading terror and panic among citizens and students, closing schools and creating suspicions towards the state".

The statement added: "Fortunately, since the middle of last week until today, Sunday, the number of accidents in schools has decreased significantly and there have been no reports of cases of poisoning among students.".
