kremlin.ru | Administration of the President of RussiaKremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the awarding of the film Oscar to the documentary Navalny✱. According to the press secretary of the President of Russia, the Kremlin did not watch a film about blogger Alexei Navalny✱ (included in the list of terrorists and extremists on the Rosfinmonitoring site).

The Oscar ceremony took place the day before in Los Angeles. The film “Navalny” received a film award as the best documentary film. Peskov reported on the Kremlin’s reaction to this news. He himself admitted that he could not judge the quality of the film, which he did not watch.

“Although I haven’t looked, I dare to assume that there is some element of politicization of the subject here. Hollywood also doesn’t sometimes avoid the subject of politicization in its work, it happens,” said said Peskov in a conversation with journalists.
