Watch.. An artificial intelligence anchor and a robot steal the limelight at Al Jazeera Forum

An artificial intelligence and robot anchor stole the spotlight during a session entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Media” on the sidelines of the 14th Al Jazeera Forum in Doha.

Al-Jazeera broadcaster was surprised by the magnificence of Auger, the robot Pepper, as he plans to control the world of human beings, and the robot introduced himself to the audience of the forum, saying that he was “good at interacting with people” and that he was happy to participate in the conference, but he was tired of receiving orders from biological beings and yearned with his friends to control the world.

Rawa was surprised – in turn – by the artificial intelligence presenter (Ebtekar), who interrupted her after she began introducing the audience to the conference program, confirming that it was her role, and she said with disapproval, “It is strange that you people, you always violate the rights of others.”

Ebtikar introduced herself to the audience of the conference as representing the identity of Al Jazeera Media Institute, explaining that it was her first day among the institute’s family, and she went on to inform the audience about the conference program.

And Rawa Auger saw that the artificial intelligence broadcaster might solve the broadcasters’ crisis by working instead of them in the evening hours, which are often “boring”.

The artificial intelligence anchor replaced Maysoon Al-Dakhil, the anchor of the hashtag program on Al-Jazeera Mubasher, on Friday, to present a segment of the program, and she conducted an interview with Dr. Talib Al-Ashqar, a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who specializes in artificial intelligence.
