Daily Mail: UK Army turned into ‘Decorative Defense Force’ due to underfunding

mod.fr | LPhot Phil Bloor/OGL v3.0British politicians and military are of the opinion that the country’s armed forces have become “decorative defense forces”. This is reported by the Daily Mail, citing sources in the British Parliament.

The publication notes that such conclusions were drawn from the fact that London does not spend enough money on defense. According to experts, the decision to allocate five billion pounds over the next two years can be described as a reduction in funding.

The author of the article noted that London does not have the necessary funds to buy tanks and develop the army, and by 2025 the British armed forces could be reduced to 73,000 soldiers. According to the data presented, in 2022, 148,000 people serve in the country’s troops.
