Namaa Center Organizes a panel discussion on the study of youth and social work

Organized by the Center for Social Development "growth", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family, in cooperation with the Excellence Center for Training and Consultation at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, a panel discussion on the study of youth and social work in the State of Qatar. A group of high-level officials at the local and international levels, and representatives of the Center for Social Development, participated in the panel discussion, which was held at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. "growth" and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, in addition to representatives of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia / ESCWA, where the participants presented the mechanism and results of the study "Youth and social work in the State of Qatar" Which was previously prepared by the Nama Center in cooperation with (ESCWA), in addition to the study’s outputs and its contribution to the development of youth energies. Participants shed light on the results of the study and how its outputs affect the social work environment in the State of Qatar, and on future plans for the programs and initiatives offered by the Nama Center. Mrs. Nouf Ibrahim Al-Abdullah, Acting Executive Director of the Social Development Center / Namaa / said:" We seek to cooperate with various entities internally and externally in order to expand the options and opportunities of our promising youth. We also look forward, at the Nama Center, to concluding fruitful partnerships with various local, regional and international entities and institutions in order to improve the quality of life of members of Qatari society, in line with the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030 and our vision of In preparing empowered and effective youth, and seeking to build their capabilities to develop their ideas, so that they become a solid base that contributes effectively to the achievement of the national vision of its desired goals and objectives. She added "We thank all those who contributed to the study and to the analysis of the outputs that will contribute to developing youth capabilities and expanding their options, and in support of the programs and activities of the center that are specially designed for youth. "
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mawry, Executive Director of the Excellence Center for Training and Consulting, appreciated this cooperation with the Nama Center for organizing this event, which comes as part of the center’s efforts to strengthen the partnership between the two parties, by providing quality consulting services in which a group of local and international experts participate, and contributing to improving the study outcomes. And the mechanisms of applying them on the ground, stressing the center’s readiness to provide all support in the field of consultations and implementation of studies, and to provide training services aimed at strengthening the efforts of the Nama Center, with the aim of empowering and developing youth capabilities, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which represents a road map for the future of the country.
