Qatari Bashar Hussein wins the second qualification card for the Qatar national team in the Asian Snooker Championship

The player Bashar Hussein won the second qualification card for the Qatar national team in the second round of the Asian Men’s Snooker Championship, the first of the three Asian championships for snooker and English billiards, which are organized by the Qatar Federation, until the nineteenth of this March, with the participation of the most prominent 80 players and players on the continent level, representing 26 countries. .

Bashar Hussein qualified after he beat his Palestinian rival, Khaled Al-Astal, with a score of (4-1) in the third and last round of Group Four competitions. With this victory, the Qatari player won the second qualifying card for the group, after the Indian Sparsh Virwani, while the Palestinian Khaled Al-Astal and the Nepalese Milan Lama bid farewell to the tournament competitions from the group stage. Bashar Hussein expressed his happiness at winning the second qualification ticket for the Qatar national team in the second round of the Asian Championship, expressing his hope to continue the journey and achieve an advanced position in the competitions. Hussein said, in a press statement, that he is happy with the qualification, especially since it came after defeating one of the veteran players, who has a distinguished biography in Asian snooker, pointing out that he will continue to prepare for the next confrontation, regardless of the opponent.

He explained that all the national team players appeared in the tournament at good levels, but some did not succeed, especially in the important stages, as happened with Khamis Al-Obaidly, who wasted an easy victory today. On the same level, Ali Al-Obaidly continued his victories in the eighth group, after achieving his third successive victory at the expense of South Korean Siang Ho, with a score of (4-3), after a strong match on the part of the players, as the Qatari player returned in the match after he was behind in the score (zero). – 2), and Al-Obaidly is waiting for the results of the rest of the groups in order to find out if he will get a direct qualifying card to the final price round, or will he play the second round matches that will be held tomorrow / Tuesday /.

In terms of the rest of the results of the Qatar national team players, Khamis Al-Obaidli, Issa Al-Qubaisi, Muhammad Al-Binali and Muhanna Al-Obaidli failed to take advantage of their participation in the Asian Championship this year to achieve positive results that qualified them to the second round, but they presented good levels, in light of their falling into strong groups against world champions.
