Apple delays bonus payments and limits the hiring of new employees

March 15, 2023

As part of its cost-cutting efforts, the US company is delaying bonus payments to employees in some departments and has also limited hiring. It is reported by Bloomberg.

Previously, Apple distributed bonuses once (October) or twice a year (April, October) depending on the division. Under the new plan, there will be no bonuses in April 2023 and all divisions will transition to annual bonuses in October.

Citing its sources, the publication writes that it is not about the senior executives of the company. Apple’s most senior employees generally receive their bonuses on a quarterly basis.
