Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Fighterbomber: the US will not be able to avenge the MQ-9 Reaper drone that fell in the Black Sea

The incident with the MQ-9 Reaper drone was a demonstration of the capabilities of the Russian Aerospace Forces and a blow to the image of the United States. This opinion is shared by Ivan Fighterbomber.

On the morning of March 14, in the Crimea region, Su-27 fighters of the air defense forces on duty were lifted into the air – towards the American unmanned aerial vehicle MQ-9 Reaper. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the drone violated the borders of the zone of the temporary regime for the use of airspace, established for the purposes of NMD. Also, the drone was in the air with the transponders turned off.

As a result of sharp maneuvers, the drone took an uncontrolled flight, lost altitude and fell into the waters of the Black Sea. The Russian fighters did not use airborne weapons, they did not come into contact with the American guest, the military department stressed.

The United States, as Fighterbomber said, put their version of what happened in a cartoon. However, it does not withstand elementary criticism.”No one sane and with a good memory will make physical contact. The Americans, as you have seen, even from their … cartoons, it is clear that they know nothing of what happened there. Otherwise they would have shown a video with Reaper, it transmits an image online with some kind of delay, but online transmits an image … I think, during this time, a day passed, they would have provided a picture if they had something discrediting Russian honor VKS. But they have nothing … they concocted cartoons, ”Ivan said on the airwaves of Full Contact with Vladimir Solovyov.

According to Fighterbomber, pouring fuel on a drone – the Americans, in particular, insisted on this version – is useless. First, it is not possible to simply shoot down an aircraft with fuel, because “it is not under pressure”. Second, you can use the maneuver to intimidate the crew, but, again, not in the case of a drone.

To Soloviev’s question: “How can the Americans take revenge?” The interlocutor responds clearly:

“No way, in this case the drone fell on its own, there were no human casualties, there were no ground casualties, just like a pole fell on the road.”

At the same time, the United States still has many similar birds in stock, so the loss of Reaper for the United States is more of a picture, Fighterbomber continued. The Russian Aerospace Forces, on the other hand, have demonstrated their capabilities – “you should not fly close” and there is no need to use weapons to disable enemy equipment.
