Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov denied reports of incurable disease

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has denied reports of his incurable disease. The politician said he was not wearing a medical device on his finger, but an electronic prayer counter.

“He is always with me when I am awake. I read salawats in honor of our beloved Prophet Muhammad. The counter lets me see how many times I’ve read them. That’s the whole secret,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The politician added that he was in perfect health and full of energy. In addition to carrying out his official duties, he plays sports and goes hiking in the mountains.

Previously, analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said that with the help of a report to Vladimir Putin, the leader of Chechnya hoped to increase the region’s importance in the political and military sphere.
