Al-Amiri spoke in press statements on the sidelines of the preparations to participate in the first edition of the championship, saying: The choice of the State of Qatar came To host this important event because of its integrated sports system, great successes and a history full of successes at the level of organizing and hosting world championships, including, for example, the readiness of stadiums, referees, coaches and players, and this comes thanks to the unlimited support of the Qatar Athletics Association for sports teams and clubs by the president and members Federation with the aim of achieving outstanding results at the Gulf, Arab and international levels and upgrading Qatari athletics to the best possible level. He added: The participation of the Arab Sports Club in the West Asian Championship comes as a representative of the clubs of the State of Qatar after obtaining the first place last season and obtaining the Federation Cup for the junior category, in partnership with the Qatar Sports Club, the host of the tournament, and the athletics team participates in the Arab Sports Club with 34 players and two teams. In general, our team is very well prepared to participate and represent the State of Qatar in this tournament, to compete for the first positions with Qatar Sports Club, and to achieve our ambition to be crowned Qatari.
