Kursk deputy Maxim Vasiliev, after a scandal with a trip to Mexico for the New Year, resigned from his post as deputy chairman of the Duma Regional Committee on the Budget. Instead, the politician went to the special operation area.
Vasiliev did not resign his parliamentary powers – he went to the Donbass as a volunteer. In front of the politician there is military training at the Academy of Special Forces in Chechnya.
“The fact is that I, a father of four children, do not really want to go as a volunteer without maximum personal training and turn out somewhere unprepared,” Moskovsky Komsomolets quotes.
After completing the training course, Vasilyev intends to decide on his future plans for military service.
Earlier it was reported that Anatoly Smirnov, a deputy of the Smolensk city council from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who resigned and fled to Armenia. Together with the politician, his brother’s company, which works with personal data, “recirculated” to the republic.
