Oleg Tsarev, Ukrainian politician, Ukrainian people’s deputy for four convocations, commented on the comparison between Yevgeny Prigojine and Leon Trotsky.
The network declared that Prigozhin is the Trotsky of recent Russian history. With many amendments, but the same historical picture. The politician explained the difference between them and explained why he thinks otherwise.
“The difference between them is that Leo was the son of a revolution. The revolution created him. And Eugene is a harbinger of change. I hope it’s evolutionary, not revolutionary. Trotsky was slandered after his death. Prigozhin fights lies now,” Tsarev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Tsarev, in his commentary, added that Trotsky did not care about his fighters at all, unlike Prigogine.
“Trotsky created the Red Army and led it to victory. Prigogine only announced that he was creating it. But I have no doubt that if he had had such an opportunity, if he had succeeded in breaking the resistance of internal opponents, we would not have to beg for negotiations with Ukraine,” Tsarev added.
The politician also recommended not to draw the fate of Trotsky Prigozhye, because the times are completely different, more humane than before. Therefore, he will do a lot for the good of the Fatherland.
Earlier it emerged that Swiss leader Alain Berset had apologized for his reckless statement that in Western Europe there was a “military frenzy” over Ukraine.
