His Excellency Mr. Abbas Hajj Hassan, the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, affirmed the ability of the State of Qatar to make a real difference in various agricultural fields to achieve food security, which comes at the forefront of strategic priorities for all countries of the world.
His Excellency said in a press statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of the opening "The tenth Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition" The venue at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center:" This exhibition comes within the State of Qatar’s vision and future strategies to achieve self-sufficiency, especially in light of the growing threats to achieving food security in many countries of the world.".
HE the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture praised the Qatari efforts aimed at increasing the level of local production, raising self-sufficiency rates and achieving Qatari food security, in accordance with best practices and the latest agricultural technologies, stressing the Lebanese Republic’s keenness and interest in strengthening its participatory relations in various fields with the State of Qatar.
HE Mr. Abbas Hajj Hassan drew attention to the Lebanese participation in the 10th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition, which is represented by 14 Lebanese companies, expressing his hope to increase the volume of participation in the exhibition. "Doha Expo 2023"which will be a pioneering and distinguished work, indicating that Qatari officials bear a great responsibility for the success of this important exhibition, especially after the impressive success achieved by the State of Qatar in organizing and hosting the FIFA,Football,Soccer,Football,Soccer World Cup Qatar 2022.
His Excellency noted the opening of the Qatari markets to Lebanese products, stressing the commitment of the Lebanese government to deliver Lebanese food products in a safe manner to various consumers around the world, pointing to the competitiveness of the food product and its high quality.
