The Skytrax company has published a list of the top 20 airports in the world in 2023. Skytrax runs a site of the same name where you can see ratings and reviews of airports and airlines around the world.
The results are based on international passenger satisfaction surveys of over 550 airports, where restaurants, shops, security, airport appearance, amenities and WiFi were rated.
Here are the top ten places.
10. Madrid Barajas Airport

8. Zurich Airport
Swiss country
7. Munich Airport
Country: Germany
6. Istanbul Airport
Country: Turkey
5. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
Country: France
4. Incheon International Airport
Country: South Korea
3. Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)
Country: Japan
2. Hamad International Airport
Country: Qatar
Last year, the airport was in first place, but it has fallen down a spot this year.
1. Singapore Changi Airport
Country: Singapore
Of the twenty best airports in the world, nine are in Europe, eight in Asia, two in North America and one in Australia.
