Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, said that all Russian submarines, including strategic submarines, can be armed with Caliber-PL cruise missiles.
Admiral Evmenov said that tests of the “Calibre” have already been carried out on second-generation submarines.
“And today they can be armed with almost any active submarine, including strategic submarines,” he said in an interview with the Krasnaya The Eastern Herald newspaper.
Earlier it was learned that the White House had approved the potential sale of 800 Hellfire air-to-surface missiles to Poland. This was reported by the US Defense Cooperation Agency.
