The State University of Penza published a rebuttal of the information that graduates handed in summons to the military commissariat with diplomas.

An official comment on the fact of the situation, which gained popularity after publicity in the media, appeared on the university’s website. It has been reported that graduates of Penza State University, who have undergone training under the officer and reserve soldier programs at the university’s military training center, are expected to hand in summonses to the military registration and enlistment office as well as higher education diplomas for military enrollment.

The university said this information is not true.

“Such messages destabilize our students, but they have nothing to fear. There were no such plans and there never will be,” said Alexander Gulyakov, rector of the university.

Earlier it became known that in the territory of the Kursk region the inspection of motor transport is being strengthened. This was reported in the press service of the government of the region.
