Putin discussed with Aliyev the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border

Putin had a phone conversation with Aliyev, the Kremlin reported. They discussed measures to ensure security in the South Caucasus in accordance with agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was reported by the publication RT.

Recall that in recent days there have been reports about the activation of the armed forces of Azerbaijan in the border area with Armenia. Residents of Yerevan reported to the “Main Regional” that on March 15, during the day, military aircraft circled over the city, their rumble was heard for a long time.

Earlier it became known that the head of the Armenian parliamentary committee for the protection of human rights, Taguhi Tovmasyan, sent urgent letters to international partners because of the dangerous accumulation of Azerbaijani armed forces and equipment near the borders of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
