The great actor Ingvar E. Sigurðsson was the guest of the Bíóbæjar film program at Hringbraut. He plays the lead role in Volada land, which is a new Icelandic movie.

On the show, Ingvar was asked what was going on in his career and if it was even when he ‘gobbled blood’ on actor Harrison Ford in a scene from the released film K-19: The Widowmaker. in 2002.

“It was really crazy,” Ingvar replied, adding that Harrison “was happy about it.”

But when it comes to what stands out the most from his career, Ingvar mentioned that it was probably Angels of the Universe, a 2002 film based on the book of the same name by Einar Má Guðmundsson.

This image brought Ingvari to the fore and drew attention to him.

“It’s always going to be terribly big for me”

Ingvar was also asked about the difference between starring in an Icelandic movie, like Volaða land, on the one hand, and such a big Hollywood movie, on the other.

Ingvar says he just returned from a project last summer where he starred in a film by director Zack Snyder called Rebel Moon, which is due out this year. The film is a science fiction set in space and will be in two parts shot in parallel.

“I’ve been on a few big projects, but this was by far the biggest,” Ingvar says of the project, adding that there was a team of around 900 people on site.

“The difference is just that – the size is so big, the population is big, the organization is really good and needs to be, but when it comes to making movies, it’s the same thing. C It’s just the same language – the language of the film, and everywhere in the world it’s the same.

Ingvar says the process is the same whether it’s a cheap or predatory movie
