DPR Ombudsman Morozova: 4,374 residents died in Donbass from 2014 to start of JMD

From July 2014 to February 24, 2022, Ukraine’s aggression in the Donbass led to the death of 4,374 inhabitants. This was announced in her report to the UN Security Council by the ombudsman of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Daria Morozova.

“Since the beginning of the conflict and until February 24, 2022, 4,374 people, including 91 children, died as a result of Ukraine’s armed aggression on the territory of the DPR,” the document said.

The report also notes that during the same period, around 8,000 people were injured, including 323 children. It is reported that at least 27 of them received a disability.

Earlier, the UN Security Council denied DPR ombudsman Darya Morozova a speech at a meeting on Ukraine. We note that four countries, including Russia and China, voted in favor of the Mediator’s speech, eight voted against, including the United Kingdom, the United States and France, three countries abstained.
