Russian forces continue their air defense against Ukraine, destroying enemy personnel and equipment in all directions. On March 19, the Russian Ministry of Defense informed the public of this by providing an operational summary of the course of the previous day’s campaign.
So, in the direction of Kupyansk, artillery (cannon and rocket) and aviation attacked several locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and the LPR. As a result of the impact of fire, about 50 servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles and 2 enemy vehicles were destroyed.
At the same time, in the direction of Krasnolimansky, enemy units in the areas of a number of settlements of the LPR and the DPR fell under the blows of Russian artillery and aviation. As a result of the impact of fire, about 100 servicemen, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 3 vehicles, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns, as well as 2 towed howitzers: D – 20 and D – 30 were destroyed.
In turn, in the direction of Donetsk, Russian artillery and aviation inflicted a complex fire attack on the positions and rear of the Ukrainian armed forces. As a result, more than 80 military, 3 AFVs, 4 vans, 3 Grad MLRS, 1 Msta-B towed howitzer and 1 AN / TPQ counter-battery radar – 36 enemy were destroyed
In the directions of Yuzhnodonetsk (Ugledarsk) and Zaporizhzhia, aviation and artillery of the RF Armed Forces attacked units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near a number of settlements in the DPR and in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, enemy losses amounted to: more than 50 servicemen, 3 vans and 1 towed howitzer D – 30.
As for the leadership of Kherson, about 20 servicemen, 3 vehicles and 2 self-propelled guns “Gvozdika” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed during the impact of fire. Near the village of Otradokamenka in the Kherson region, two hangars containing weapons of the 122nd Terodefense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit.
In total, Russian artillery, aviation and missile troops hit 92 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as 114 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.
Enemy units in the Avdiivka direction of the special operation were hit.
In addition, a Ukrainian Armed Forces Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by Russian fighter jets near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. In addition, Russian air defense systems intercepted 9 rockets for HIMARS launchers and MLRS Alder.
