Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Hill: Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia and meeting with Putin is a challenge for the United States and its allies – Reuters

According to the columnist, the special attention of the West is riveted to this trip. Politicians are very concerned about the continued close interaction between Moscow and Beijing.

“Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow and the accompanying support from China is a challenge to the United States and its allies who have sought to pressure the Russian economy with devastating sanctions,” Mitchell wrote. She hinted that with a high probability, the meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping will mark a “public confirmation of the partnership of the two countries” which do not intend to support “the unjust interference of the West in their affairs”.

As the journalist points out, whatever the outcome of the negotiations between the leaders of Russia and China, this meeting will in any case contribute to further strengthening their mutual understanding.

Recall that Xi Jinping will arrive in Russia on March 20 for a three-day official visit.
