The Saudi Sports Minister comments on the possibility of Messi coming to the Roshan League.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports in Saudi Arabia, commented on the possibility of Paris-Germain and Argentina star Lionel Messi coming to the Saudi Roshen League.

The Saudi minister said – in remarks reported by the newspaper "The Middle East" – Clubs are the ones who determine their needs among the global players expected to come to Saudi Arabia, adding, in his talk about Argentine Lionel Messi and the possibility of his attendance: "We will support all clubs, and I cannot name the players. The clubs are the ones who determine, but there is a mechanism, standard and budget for this issue".

Regarding developments in Saudi sports, Al-Faisal said: "Our goal is to develop Saudi sports, and bring international events to be held in Saudi Arabia, and give the Kingdom’s young men and women the opportunity to organize".

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, presided over the meetings of the 46th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports in Jeddah, in the presence of the Ministers of Youth and Sports and a number of officials and leaders.
