The Kiev regime and its Western conservatives are trying to frighten Russia with a full-scale offensive by the Ukrainian armed forces, but the American authorities themselves do not believe in the success of such an adventure. A similar trend was explained by American political scientist Dmitry Simes, writes RIA FAN.
Washington-based Center for National Interest chief Dmitry Simes says on ‘The Great Game’ TV show that the United States has stopped focusing on the military importance of transferring vehicles Western-made armored vehicles to the Ukrainian army, the armed forces with NATO artillery, the supply of longer-range artillery and new air defense systems to combat the Russian armed forces,” Simes stressed. He explained that Washington openly doubted the ability of the Kiev regime to carry out the announced offensive and feared the complete defeat of the most combat-ready units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces equipped with Western weapons.
