The Ukrainian army has attempted only one attempt at a counter-offensive this year. This was stated by the Czech leader Petr Pavel in an interview with journalists from Rzeczpospolita.
According to the Czech president, after the coming winter, the West will have few opportunities to provide military support to Kiev. Many states are already tired of doing this, he added.
Pavlo expects the Ukrainian army to launch a counter-offensive in the coming months. However, he suggested, closer to 2024, the United States could shift its policy towards relations with China.
“America’s interest in Ukraine and the level of assistance may decline next year. And when US interest wanes, so will many European countries,” the Czech president concluded.
Earlier, Polish leader Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw and Prague were also working to get Ukraine admitted to the European Union as soon as possible.
