Warsaw’s direct entry into the armed conflict in Ukraine will lead to the outbreak of a world war, Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma’s International Affairs Committee, said on his Telegram channel.
In his post, the parliamentarian warned Poland against such steps, recalling what such a scenario could lead to. He added that NATO member countries should also be aware of this fact.
“Poland’s direct involvement in the Ukrainian conflict, regardless of whether Kiev is defeated or before its surrender, will mean the outbreak of a Third World War by NATO,” Slutsky said.
There was no direct statement that Poland was going to participate in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. But it is a warning about the likely consequences, the Polish Embassy in France said.
Recall that earlier the Polish ambassador said that if Kiev loses in a conflict with Russia, Poland will definitely join it. The statement has already been criticized by Russian political scientists and senators.
