Soldiers of the Russian Airborne Forces, using special anti-sabotage weapons, repelled attacks by combat swimmers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the commander of the unit Russian airborne forces.

“It’s a very useful tool. Designed to destroy underwater saboteurs. Special ammunition is used. The enemy has no chance. This weapon was used to repel the attack of combat swimmers,” he said.

In addition, the commander pointed out that the radius of destruction of this weapon under water is 200 meters.

Earlier, the acting governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that the Russian army had stopped an attempt by the Ukrainian armed forces to land on the left bank of the region. According to him, this crossing attempt is the most important of recent times.
