Head of the Just Russia – For the Truth faction in the State Duma, Sergei Mironov, has argued for giving the PMCs official status in the country. He sees the process of legalizing such structures as “inevitable”.
Mironov believes that the monitoring functions of the PMCs will have to be entrusted to the Ministry of Defense. About this writes RIA Novosti.
The publication also clarifies that in March 2022, the party sent the next edition of the finalized PMC legalization bill to the government for conclusion.
