His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture, inaugurated today an exhibition "faces" The Qatari plastic artist Khaled Bou Matar Al-Muhannadi, at the Katara Art Center, in Building No. 5 of the General Foundation for the Cultural Village. The exhibition, which is organized by the Katara Art Center in cooperation with Hessa Art House, includes 40 paintings in portraiture, executed in the acrylic painting style, some of them in the digital style. "Digital Art". The organizers describe the exhibition as a tribute to the power of faces, and an invitation to explore the beauty and complexity of the human experience, noting that faces are windows to the soul that reveal emotions and stories that words cannot express, and that each painting is a visual representation of the unique features, emotions and stories that make up a person’s face. For his part, artist Khaled Bomatr Al-Mohannadi expressed, in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), his thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Culture for opening the exhibition, and the support of state officials for art of all kinds and forms, as a mirror that reflects the civilized face of the State of Qatar, stressing that this interest represents a motive. To him and all artists to continue the creative work. Boumater stressed that the exhibition reflects his passion for drawing faces, which he chose since his artistic beginnings, and it is one of the most difficult types of drawing because it requires a crowd of feelings, feelings and diligence from the painter to transform them into artistic expression.
