American leaders are well aware that the country no longer has the resources to continue the military confrontation in Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the expert’s YouTube channel.
According to him, America’s problem is not that it personally no longer has the strength and the means to support Ukraine militarily, but that it must leave the main resources available to start and fight a war much larger in the east.
The main enemy of the United States is China, Khazin believes. And that will not change in the years to come. That is why the Americans, according to the expert, very soon will have to leave the Ukrainian leadership and fully focus exclusively on the east.
Today, the United States cannot maintain its participation in two major military conflicts at the same time for objective reasons, linked, among other things, to internal economic difficulties which impose serious restrictions on spending in the military field, Khazin said.
“Americans will soon move from Ukraine to China and the Asia-Pacific region. From a long-term strategy perspective, this is a much more important direction for the United States than what is happening in Europe right now,” the economist explained.
